Today “The Wolf of Zurich” shares with you an analysis on Gold (XAU USD).

Wolfe waves and harmonic patterns

used on the stock market by all stock market professionals (hedge funds, “big” traders, large financial institutions, etc...), in order to detect potential market reversals (PRZ), were detected by the “WOOZ”.

I therefore offer you a technical and strategic publication on gold, but which will be very educational at the same time, including for beginners. This is why I broke down my analysis into 4 graphs, and in different time frames.

A quick reminder about Wolfe waves (WW): They are made up of 3 impulsive waves and 2 corrective waves.

TP1 (Take Profit 1) is determined by drawing a line 2-4 of the WW. TP2 (Take Profit 2) is on line 1-4 of the WW.

As you can see, we were in an uptrend and looking for a downside reversal. I first detected several sell signals on this bearish Wolfe wave:

March 20, 2023: “SHORT” entry on 03/21/2023: Potential profits: 42 points for the greediest.
April 6, 2023: “SHORT” entry on April 10, 2023: Potential profits: 27 points for the greediest.
April 14, 2023: “SHORT” entry on 04/17/2023: Potential profits: 32 points for the greediest.
May 5, 2023: “SHORT” entry on 9:03:03:2023: Potential profits: 203 points for the greediest.

The Wolf of Zurich has detected a BUTTERFLY harmonic pattern announcing a bullish reversal in the short or medium term.

On this chart I had detected a bullish Wolfe wave. The RSI was “OVERSOLD”.

Today, “Le WOOZ” detected a bearish NEN STAR,

which is a harmonic figure which indicates to us on this chart a possible bearish reversal in the PRZ zone (Potential reversal Zone).
The TP of a NEN STAR is generally located on a 50% Fibonacci retracement.

In addition, the Exponential Moving Averages EMA.50 (pink line) and EMA.200 (white line) are potential targets in the short and medium term.

LOOK how technical analysis is very, very powerful, stunning and at the same time relevant, because the “EMA” converges perfectly with the 50% Fibonacci! »Isn’t that beautiful? » ????
