Everyone knows the two most famous canals in the world: The Suez Canal fed by the sea, and the Panama Canal fed by two artificial lakes.

Panama is currently undergoing an unprecedented drought which has lowered the water level of the two aforementioned lakes.

This event produced a huge traffic jam of ships and freighters of raw materials, causing a slowdown in the activity of the Panama Canal, which represents 5% of world maritime traffic. Today it takes 3 weeks to cross the canal. Expert estimates say that the canal will operate in slow motion for a year, because of this climatic phenomenon.
Finally, imagine the impact on consumers around the world, like you and me.

This therefore partly explains why oil prices are soaring.

So let's see if this news has had an impact on WTI Crude Oil in recent days: all the potential targets are mentioned on the graph.

 

NB: Don't forget that with harmonics and Wolfe waves, the proportions are often a bit different than in real trading. Don't be too academic. ;-)
